Exactly this time one year ago, we completed a similar Intro to Storytelling workshop in Ji’an, Jiangxi Province, China in partnership with IF China. Hengmei Wu who was with us at that workshop is in town and so we are pleased to present an exclusive screening of the “Stories of Ji’an” featuring our 9 Chinese participants; Cai Yan Jun, Chen Ying, He Maohua, Kuang Wei, Li Xue, Liu Hao, Liu Xiaochun, Liu Yan and Liu Yuan.

In addition to this, we are in for a special treat this month as we have two guest photographers who will be sharing work;

Spanish photojournalist Omar Havana will be sharing his work titled “Endurance” which is a special tribute to port-earthquake recovery in Nepal, and which he just recently showcased at Visa Pour l’Image.

French documentary and portrait photographer Ania Gruca will be sharing her work titled “Zanzibar; A Tale Beyond Fiction” which examines the strength, beauty, and unique place held by the women of Zanzibar in a fast changing society.
