Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, Kathmandu has been doing 300 PCR tests every day. The queue outside the hospital starts at 4 AM every day. Those with symptoms, those referred by doctors, including migrant workers who have arrived from outside of Kathmandu are given the first priority. They pay Rs. 30 for registration, take a ticket and queue up for their turn. The PCR tests for COVID-19 are free of cost at government-run hospitals in Nepal.
