Alex Teh
Alex Teh Made in Singapore in 1984, Alex Teh is a budding photojournalism student at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information. He has always had an interest in photography but it had laid dormant till two fateful years ago. Presently, he has been the Photo Editor of the Nanyang Chronicle, his school-run newspaper, and has always worked with Nepali lifestyle/culture magazine, ECS.

The recent special edition of photo.circle was his first public presentation and he sincerely hopes to be able to have more of such opportunities in the future. Learning from photography masters such as Eugene Richards, Sebastiao Salgado and Daido Moriyama, his style consists mostly of street and cultural photography.

Street Festivals
During his five months in Nepal, Alex Teh has tried to capture the spirit and festivities of Nepal's unique traditional jatras. From the Rato Machendrenath Festival to the Samyek Festival in Patan, he hopes his photos are able to capture the beauty and chaos behind these street festivals.
