Bikas Rauniar
Bikas Rauniar Bikas Rauniar was born in Kathmandu on November 8 1968 and holds a Bachelors degree in Law. He is currently photo editor at Kantipur publications. His favorite photographers are Ansel Adams, Raghu Rai and James Natchway. Rauniar enjoys nature, people, news and lifestyle photography and extends his interests to movies, music and traveling. Amongst others, his most memorable exhibitions are the solo exhibition in the United Kingdom in1996 and a group exhibition at Chobi Mela, Dhaka in 2000. Rauniar received a trainers training in photojournalism at Drik, Dhaka in 1996 and now holds teaching positions at several photography and media studies institutions in Kathmandu. Rauniar is former president of the Nepal Forum of Photojournalists (NFPJ).
