Prayag Suryabhanshi is a freelance photographer based in Kathmandu. He was born in Sindhuli in 1984. Suryabanshi has completed his I Com and is currently doing his BBS from Tribhuwan University. He received training in photography from The South Asian Institute of Photography in Dhaka and had his works presented when he participated in a group photo exhibition at Drik. He enjoys documentry photography. "Nature and society inspires me to become a photographer" says Suryabanshi. His favorite photographer is Marten Krogyold from Norway.

PRESENTATIONS
The Dockyard
Everyone at the Sadarghat Dockyard in Bangladesh worked very hard. It was dangerous work. The dockyard had no life of its own but the people working there had lives outside of it.
In this project, I concentrated on the use of symbolism and the use of color. The hanging anchor you see is like an axe. The red background is a symbol of revolution. There is a unique relationship between the anchor and the water.
