photo.circle has partnered with a number of organizations in 2007 and 2008 to curate exhibitions, produce multimedia and promote photographers and original works:

Alliance Francaise of Kathmandu photo.circle supported "Off Beat Kathmandu", a photo contest organized and hosted by the Alliance Francaise in 2007. In 2008, photo.circle hosted a special presentation titled "India by Magnum: Plural Perspectives" featuring 14 Magnum photographers.
 
The Bakery Café The Bakery Café provides invaluable support to photo.circle by providing its multimedia hall as venue for all photo.circle events. in return photo.circle has curated various exhibitions for The Bakery Café including "Enchanting Life with Light", a photo exhibition introducing the works of young photographer Rocky Prajapati at the Bakery Café in Pulchowk, "Design Show", featuring the works of 8 graphic designers, "Heritage in Ink" featuring artist Cheeranjivi Makaju, and so on.
 
Creative Statements photo.circle produced a multimedia show for Celebrating Womanhood for their annual award ceremony organized by Creative Statements.
 
Prime College Kudos to Prime College in Nayabazar for sponsoring coffee at photo.circle every month! Also, it is great to see Prime students at photo.circle events!

call for submissions!

photo.circle is screening a special human rights selection of work on november 29th to mark the 60th anniversary of the universal declaration of human rights. if you have work related to human rights issues, please email us jpegs as samples or drop off a cd. we would like to compile a presentation to screen on nov 29th at photo.circle and possibly on dec 6th at UDHR60 in Kathmandu: Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights at Basantapur Durbar Square, Kathmandu.
