ABOUT
...................................................................................

Organized by b&n; a communications company based in Kathmandu, photo.circle is a unique platform that highlights the power of visual storytelling. It is a physical space for professional as well as amateur photographers to share work and interact with other storytellers and a larger community of media professionals.

photo.circle creates an opportunity for photographers to directly communicate with their audience and receive feedback. It also provides time and space to share technical know- how on the craft of making pictures and the skills of navigating the larger industry that makes use of these pictures for various communication purposes.

In addition to discussing technical aspects of the profession, photo.circle also encourages photographers to equip themselves with research and presentation skills. photo.circle invites "experts" and interested individuals who are able to share their expertise and experience in the issue area that the photographer's work focuses on.

By facilitating dialogue between editors, designers, reporters and other key actors in the world of publication, photo.circle creates an opportunity for photographers to ensure better use of their work once their images leave their hands and enter the larger realm of the industry.

Through its monthly presentations, special sessions, workshops, website, mailing list and informal networking, photo.circle offers photographers a wide range of exposure to the styles and works of photographers in all corners of the country, region and the world.
